Piedmont Endocrinology is pleased to welcome Brianna Elder as the director of our Health and Wellness program. Brianna received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition, with a concentration in Dietetics from Appalachian State University. She also completed an accredited 1200-hour dietetic internship which encompassed all areas of dietetics, including weight management and carb counting. Brianna enjoys many aspects of nutrition, but counseling patients toward a lifetime of health and wellness is where her heart truly lies.
In Piedmont Endocrinology’s medically-supervised program, patients are counseled based on customized calorie and nutrient needs, as well as any individual hurdles they may face along their journey. Weight loss, more specifically fat loss, is our main goal with subsequent goals
including lowering A1c, cholesterol, and triglyceride levels.
By achieving these goals together, it is our hope that patients are able to come off of the expensive medications that come along with Type 2 Diabetes, high cholesterol, and other complications related to a high body fat percentage.
The program offers supplements and meal replacements to aid in your weight loss journey, none of which require a prescription. Our mission is to set you up for long term, sustainable success by instilling healthy habits and finally ridding you of the problematic excess body fat.
Your health and well-being is our top priority, and Brianna would love to help you reach your goals!
