A. Rodman Barber, M.D.

Dr. Barber completed his undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University and went to medical school at the University of Louisville in Kentucky.  He completed his postgraduate training at University of California, Davis and Presbyterian Medical Center in San Francisco.  This included his internship and residency in Internal Medicine. He then returned to University of California, Davis to complete his fellowship in Endocrinology.  He is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Endocrinology.  Upon completion of his fellowship, Dr. Barber joined an Endocrinology practice in Santa Rosa, California from 1990 to 1999.  In 1999 he and his family relocated to Hickory where he joined Piedmont Endocrinology.  He enjoys biking, tennis, snow and water skiing and watching his children play sports.
 

Venkatarama S. Donepudi, M.D.

Dr. Donepudi completed his undergraduate studies at University of Akron and attended medical school at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in the British West Indies.  He completed his postgraduate training at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana.  This included his internship and residency in Internal Medicine. He then went to Indiana University to complete his fellowship in Endocrinology. He is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Endocrinology.  Dr. Donepudi joined Piedmont Endocrinology in 2003.  He enjoys spending time with his family and doing home repair projects.

Ebele C. Chira, M.D.

Dr. Chira attended medical school at the University of Lagos in Nigeria. He completed his postgraduate training in Internal Medicine both in the United Kingdom and at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia.  He then completed his fellowship in Endocrinology at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA.  He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Board Eligible in Endocrinology.  Dr. Chira joined Piedmont Endocrinology in 2007.  He enjoys road trips with his family and watching soccer.
